In a 1995 interview with The Guardian, Weller remarked, "Sgt. Pepper’s was the first album I ever bought." He expressed a preference for the era when The Beatles evolved beyond their early image, stating, "It was real. I loved everything about them—their clothes, their music, and, as I grew older, their attitude." In 2012, Weller was chosen by the celebrated pop artist Sir Peter Blake to feature in a contemporary rendition of the iconic Sgt. Pepper’s album cover, marking his ongoing connection to the band’s legacy.

It is widely recognised that Oasis drew significant inspiration from The Beatles. Noel Gallagher, alongside his brother Liam, has shown a deep affinity for the iconic band. In 2014, Noel shared with BBC News the personal significance of the "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album, explaining its coincidental release around the time of his birth in 1967. "Sgt. Pepper is special for me because I was born on 29 May, and it came out on 1 June," he stated. While he was being born at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester, the album was being played on the hospital’s radio. He highlighted that the album includes some of his favourite Beatles tracks, such as "A Day in the Life" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Additionally, in 2012, Noel appeared in the updated version of the Sgt. Pepper’s album artwork, further cemented his connection to The Beatles' enduring influence.
